Founded by Carlyle Baker in Piqua, Ohio in 1939, Certified is one of Ohio’s leading independent operators of convenience stores and retail fueling facilities.  Certified operates or supplies over 140 locations in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky.  We maintain our own proprietary “Certified” fuel brand and we distribute fuels for Sunoco, Marathon, and Valero.
